I agree to comply with all of the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the USGSD Society. I understand that failure to do so may result in immediate withdrawal from the foster program.

I agree to provide compassionate and loving care for every foster dog I foster, for as long as necessary until the dog has been successfully placed in a permanent home. This care includes — but is not limited to — adequate food, water, shelter, and medication when required.

I acknowledge that my services are provided strictly on a volunteer basis, without pay or compensation of any kind.

I agree not to hold USGSD Society responsible for any damages which the animal may do to any person or property. I specifically release and hold harmless USGSD Society of any responsibility pertaining to any damage to property or personal injury relating to the foster animal in my care, custody, and control regarding any and all damage or injury(ies) of any nature whatsoever. I also agree to notify USGSD Society immediately of any damages and/or injury(ies).

I understand that almost all dogs have a transition when moving to a new house and promise to be patient and tolerant during that period, which can last for a few weeks.

I agree to cooperatively, with USGSD Society, find my fosters permanent, loving homes as quickly as possible. This includes bringing the dog to adoption events and posting about them on social media!

I agree to transport my foster dog to visits with potential adoptable families as well as to any and all veterinary appointments.

I agree and accept that I may not keep the dog without the approval and consent of USGSD Society. All foster dogs are property of USGSD until adoption paperwork is properly authorized & signed. I understand that if I do want to adopt my foster dog, I must follow the normal adoption procedure by filling out an adoption application and paying the adoption donation fee.

I understand that other animals in my household could be exposed to medical or behavioral conditions that have not been recognized in the foster animal placed with me, and that USGSD Society is not liable for any disease or injury of my own personal animals
